Our Lady Peace

When Mark Van Doren, the American poet and teacher, wrote his famous work, "Our Lady Peace" in 1943, he couldn't have imagined the concept of rock'n'roll, let alone that a Canadian rock group would adopt his title for their name. Consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jeremy Taggart and Steve Mazur, Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful bands in Canada today. The band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four JUNO Awards and ten Much Music Video Awards - one of the most MMVA's ever awarded to any artist or group. The band’s latest album “Curve” debuted in the Top 10 of Canada’s national album sales chart. The album’s first single, “Heavyweight” is currently charted at #1 on Canada’s Mainstream Rock radio airplay chart.

The band was also involved in the Occupy movement and lent their track Fight The Good Fight to the official Occupy Soundtrack.

Sébastien Lefebvre

Sébastien Lefebvre is a Québécois musician best known as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the multi-platinum selling rock act, Simple Plan.

Making use of scheduled breaks with Simple Plan, Sébastien took the time off to write, record and produce his debut solo EP, You Are Here/Vous Etes Ici. A stray away from his punk roots with more folky themes, "You Are Here/Vous Ete Ici" quickly became a success and has led to Lefebvre's sophomore album, Les Robots released in 2011.

Working with longtime friend Patrick Langlois from Musicplus, Sébastien maintains an online radio show called "The Man of the Hour Show", which can be heard on Idobi Radio Station and downloaded as a podcast through iTunes. The Seasonal show has garnered over 500,000 international subscribers.

The Waking Eyes

The Waking Eyes are Rusty Matyas, Joey Penner, Matt Peters and Steve Senkiw. The group formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as more of a musical collective and recording project than a band proper. From the beginning they have refused to be one-dimensional and predictable. Their debut album Combing The Clouds is a rich tapestry of neo-psychedelic and orchestral pop recorded in various basements, garages and bedrooms in Manitoba. Their next album is the Rock album, Video Sound. After extensive touring over several years and finally solidifying their membership, The Waking Eyes began to work on something new. By 2008 they wrote and recorded far too many songs to count. After the dust had settled they were left with a 3-CD set of B-sides and rarities (Operation Walter Prychodko), two side projects (Rusty's Terrier and Matt's Royal Canoe) and the real prize - a full length album called Holding On To Whatever It Is.

Roger Mooking

As MC Mystic, Roger Mooking was a key member in highly popular (and JUNO Award-winning) '90s Soul trio Bass is Base. His involvement in other projects such as The Maximum Definitive (Canadian Music Video Award-winners), MistaCronks, and Rogeraudio have confirmed his staying power as both an MC and composer.
