USS have crafted a whole series of unique and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for their longtime and brand new fans to get involved with the creation process of “Advanced Basics”. PEI 2014 has opened up the submissions for Island songwriters to enter their original works to be used for the year’s celebrations. Judging the submissions will be music industry professionals as well as a trio of Canadian songwriters, including Raine Maida.

The PEI 2014 Song Search is open to songwriters who call the Island home, that is, who were born or currently live in PEI. Submissions will be accepted online at www.pei2014songsearch.ca until July 15, 2013. USS revealed yesterday, to the endless requests for a return, a short headline tour in Germany this July! The guys will be playing 3 shows following their appearance at Trafalgar Square for Canada Day In London on July 1st.
