Hours & Location: Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm at Coalition Music (1731 Lawrence Ave., E. in Toronto, just east of Victoria Park). Easily accessible via the Don Valley Parkway and public transit (TTC,YRT).
Requirements: Actively working, developing artists or bands. All musical styles and genres are welcome.
Instruction: Team teaching and coaching by Coalition Music helps you build your brand and business by providing a hands-on look at today's music industry via our day-to-day artist management, label, and studio operations. Team learning affords bands the option of dividing course work based on member responsibilities, strengths and interests, be it social media, marketing, finances, touring, or songwriting and publishing.
Cost: The program cost is $7,500 + HST. However, all applicants are eligible for a partial scholarship of up to $5,000 courtesy of BellMedia or Corus Entertainment.
The total cost with the maximum partial scholarship is $2,500 + HST. Scholarships are subject to availability, the submission of a completed application form, and an interview with Coalition Music.
There are no other costs.
Admission: In addition to submitting an application form, to be eligible for an Astral Radio or Bell Media Radio partial scholarship all applicants will be interviewed and assessed by Coalition Music.
Program Size: 20 artists/bands maximum.
