Waking Eyes plays Hong Kong’s Cavern Club in LKF to standing room only “Music Matters” industry crowd
Hong Kong, (June 4, 2009) Winnipeg’s Waking Eyes, managed by Coalition Entertainment, was the highlight of the night for the wall-to-wall crowd in Hong Kong’s coolest downtown entertainment district Lan Kwai Fong. LKF attracts the young and hip in Hong Kong, which has clearly become the centre of the Asia-Pacific entertainment industry over the past few years.
The Waking Eyes showcase was presented by Canadian Music Week and CIRPA, with assistance from DFAIT and other government partners. Inward Eye launches off Canadian Music Week with a bang on Wednesday at the CMW Kick-Off Party at Tattoo Rock Parlour.
Coalition Night at the Rivoli consists of Incura, Afternoon Zero, Cure Gravity, Hail The Villain, Special Guest, and Inward Eye at 1am to cap off the stellar evening!

The Juno Award’s media conference was held this morning and Simple Plan have scored two of the biggest nominatons of the day! Both Album of The Year and Group of The Year could be notches on SP’s belt for 2009! Simple Plan will also be performing at the 2009 JUNO Awards, hosted by Russell Peters, which will air on CTV from Vancouver’s General Motors Place on Sunday, March 29, 2009 on CTV.
