War Child Canada’s third annual Busking For CHANGE is back! On International Peace Day September 21st, celebrated musicians will be taking their music to the streets of downtown Toronto to help raise money for children whose lives have been torn apart by war. Money collected on site and through online donations will support War Child, an award winning charity that provides humanitarian assistance to children and families affected by war.
In the last year musicians in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver took to the streets to help War Child raise over $100,000 for war affected children in some of the most devastated regions of the world.
Coalition artists Ashes, Barlow, and Raine Maida will be participating at this year’s event. Support your favourite Busking For CHANGE artist(s) NOW! Click on their names below, sponsor their efforts and help them reach their fundraising goals because war is no place for a child. Or you can make a general donation by clicking here.

The 2010 Music Therapy Ride Committee is delighted to welcome celebrity guests Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk for our annual ride to Whistler on September 18, 2010.

“Nothing has been more powerful in our lives than Music ….It has the power to comfort , to challenge us, to say what we cannot find words for, and soften even the hardest of hearts. Above all music has the power to heal. Chantal and I are thrilled to be part of the Music Therapy Ride in Vancouver this year to help provide and support much needed Music Therapy programs throughout British Columbia.” - Raine
2011 will welcome Maida’s highly anticipated sophomore album “We All Get Lighter”. The track “Bury Me With A Gun” is available at Itunes Canada on August 24th.

Roger Mooking is wearing baggy low-crotched jeans, glow-in-the-dark trainers and a Perrier-bottle-green button-down when he greets me at his five-year-old Toronto restaurant, Kultura, with the cocksure swagger of a hip-hop star and the huggable, consoling warmth of a teddy bear.
Justin will be participating in the Athletes for Africa “Rock The Pitch” charity soccer tournament on August 14th.
